New Year Ghostly Encounter

As we ring into the new year, I anticipate good tidings that the year will bring and to make every moment count rather than dwell on the past or mistakes. After all, we only have one life to live, so I focus on making this life enlightened and worthwhile while I am on earth. I wish everyone a magical Happy New Year and may 2010 bring further health, happiness and joy.

Recently, I had unexpected ghostly encounter at a cabin rental where my significant other, our friends and I stayed at in the mountains. On New Year Day (January 1st) I witnessed something unexpectedly, which is rare even for me, to encounter spirits on the other plane. First of all, I used to be scared of ghosts and the like, and that I didn’t understand why those things were happening, but I always have been a strong believer of anything spiritual, especially with my walk with the Lord Jesus. Ever since my walk with the Lord strengthened, I came to realize that even though we are living in physical realm of earth, there are spirits that also roam the realm as well.

Spiderweb Placemats

I got the spider web placemats at Target. I thought they were really cute and just in time for Halloween. They look very well done and has a bit of glimmer which I thought was a cool effect. There are two photos below.

Raven’s Angel

The Raven is my angel those blood red eyes reflect me in the most purest of ways
The shadows he casts over my life
Shielding me from the pain
You wrap me in your wings, for once I am free
We will fly over all the worthless people who know not why they live
But we are different from them we see the darkness they can not even fathom
Your will is so strong and I gain my power from that will
You keep me going you are my beautiful Angel of Death
You see this world through those eyes as only one who soar above it all can
The light and the dark
An angel to this life are you
Saving me when I have not the strength to save myself
You are my angel my love my life
And in a sense you are me
For as we leave this world behind if only for a moment
As we fly we become one as you show me a glimpse of being free
I watch as the shadows fall from your wings and you take me away to a world of dreams if only for a moment
You give me the freedom the razor can not
The release the scars can no longer offer
As we fly you tell me
I am the Raven’s Angel
Now and forever we fly leaving this world and the darkness in it behind.

Mad wicked shoes

When it comes to shopping shoes, I have a certain preference. I just don’t buy whatever I see on the store shelf, I usually aim for something unique yet comfortable. Too often, shoes sometimes characterize people, but they don’t really define anything, especially when it comes to style. When my eyes fell upon those wedges, my heart did a funny flutter and just knew that I had to have them! I used to buy shoes all the time, but not anymore because I realized that I prefer to choose something that lasts longer and stylish years from now. Check out Iron Fist One Hand in Grave wedges. I’m pretty impressed that Iron Fist shoes have really cool style and comes in various shapes and designs but I really like these particular shoes. After they arrived at my doorstep, I was thrilled when I opened the package and saw how cool they are. I love the neon green leopard print inside the shoes plus the rim around the top part. See the picture below. It reminds me a bit of Mad Scientist theme.

Tattoo Apparel

I’m starting to admire tattoo inspired apparel, especially the creations of Ed Hardy. I think he’s brilliant tattoo artist, and has successfully captured the fancy of many people who are into art and imagination. I think they are really cool and I like the intricate details that come with many tattoos. I like Ed Hardy’s stuff because they’re of high quality and classy, with some cool clothing styles that came with the art. Thanks to the TV show’s popularity, LA Ink and Kat Von D made tattoos totally mainstream and everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to get a tattoo or two. While I think tattoos are cool, some people have to think twice about what kind of tattoos do they want to get? Because they’re permanent until the day you die. While making a decision whether to tat or not, why not get some tattoo apparel, including those temporary tattoo sleeves that you can don on your arms and go out. You may freak or impress some people wearing these. I’ve seen some good and awful sleeves, but the ones you should check out are Wild Rose Tattoo Shirts site. See a sample below of their jacettes.

They’re pricey compared to many others that are available on the market, such as VampireFangs.com and GoneBlue.com. I’m thinking of getting a pair so if the mood strikes me fancy, I’ll don the temporary tat sleeves without getting real ink.

However, I’m still working on the art for my tattoos. I’m getting a few down the road. But I won’t get any tats on my arms for sure because I like my arms the way they are. Once I decide on the art, I’ll share when I’m ready! Look out for some of my stuff later.
